For some years "Le ZANCLUS", a real International Diving School, has been certifying SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) members in compliance with NAUI Standards and in collaboration with the SSAC (Shape SubAqua Club).

On Sunday the 15th of May 2005, some of them made their first open water dives in the marvellous Zeeland waters, in Den Osse, The Netherlands.

I was so ill that I could only care for the good procedures and safety of everybody on the surface as well as for the BBQ that found place between the two planned dives.

Fortunately, Estelle and Karel could replace me in the water and conduct two dives successfully with each new diver. Lukas helped Karel in his task even successfully.

Trusting their smiles after they had come back to the surface, I can imagine how happy they were. Some of them even made some basic exercises during the second dive in order to get their certification before the summer holidays.

My warmest congratulations to everybody and sincere thanks to Estelle, Karel and Lukas for their good help.

Some of them will soon go back to the Tchec Republic, their home country, and will, for sure, be proud to continue their training with NAUI, which is developping extraordinary well there now.
